Starting on May 15, restaurants and bars are permitted to reopen for outdoor dining with restrictions. On May 21, they are permitted to reopen for dine-in service with restrictions. Not all restaurants will be ready to open to customers, and carryout service can help support local restaurants during this time. Many restaurants in Columbus are offering pickup and delivery. So whether you’re tired of cooking, want to support your favorite restaurants, or just prefer to order in for your own safety, we’ve got the lists for you. Don’t forget – you can get beer, wine, and cocktails to-go in Columbus now too!
We are sharing all of the lists that have been created for different parts of the city to make it easy to find the area you are looking for. Although, if you want to try something new, it’s a good time to drive across town to somewhere that you normally don’t have time to visit during your “normal” busy life.

Carryout and Delivery all over Columbus
Support Local Columbus has created Support Columbus Eats, a crowd-sourced website with options for carryout and delivery all over Columbus. You can sort by individual districts and suburbs, as well as between Drive-Thru, Curbside, Takeout, and In-House Delivery.
They also have lists of gift cards to purchase, as well as local online shops.
Takeout COVID has also put together a list of restaurants offering takeout and delivery all over Columbus.
Carryout and Delivery in the Short North
This list compiled by the Short North Arts District and includes links to all of the local businesses and how you can continue to support them. The list includes online shopping for retailers, galleries (inquire about available works), businesses offering experiential and virtual services. Their big list of restaurants, coffee shops, and juiceries in the District offering pick-up and/or delivery options, includes locally-owned independent restaurants, breweries and distilleries, as well as a list of franchise options.
There is also a list of businesses that have been unable to continue operations and could use donations, gift card purchases, and other forms of support. This district has asked for support on social media with the hashtag #BeTheArtAndSoul to share your favorite memories in the Short North Arts District.
Carryout and Delivery in Dublin
Visit Dublin Ohio has put together lots of resources to support local businesses in the Dublin area. Their big list for Pickup and Delivery Options in Dublin includes options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and wine/beer! You can also see a list of establishments that are temporarily closed. Carryout and Delivery in Worthington
Experience Worthington has provided a list of businesses you can support, including online shopping and restaurants open for carryout and delivery in Worthington.
They even have a Small Bingo Business card on the website to give you ideas on how you can support local business. Many of these don’t require a purchase, as there are plenty of ways to support a business without opening your wallet.
Carryout and Delivery in Westerville
Uptown Westerville lists the status of all of the businesses in the district, and there are plenty of options for restaurants offering carryout and delivery, as well as wine and beer pickup/delivery options.

Carryout and Delivery in Hilliard
Destination Hilliard maintains a list of tons of Hilliard-area restaurants offering carryout and delivery. The list also includes other businesses still open, as well as specials they are offering.
The Hilliard Chamber of Commerce also maintains a list of Hilliard-area restaurants offering carryout and delivery at the bottom of the COVID resources page. There is also a list of other businesses still open, as well as specials they are offering.
You can also join the Helping Hilliard Ohio Restaurants/Bars during COVID-19 Crisis Facebook page to raise awareness and share recommendations in support of Hilliard restaurants.
Carryout and Delivery in Easton
Easton has 3 grocery stores (Costco, Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s) and over 20 restaurants who are offering meals through carryout, curbside and delivery services. Check out the list for Easton Town Center!
Carryout and Delivery in Grove City
Visit Grove City has published an amazing resource page, Adventures In Solitude. This page includes a growing list of restaurants, retailers, creative “Take and Make at Home” options, and outdoor escapes during this time of continued social distancing.
Restaurant Delivery Services
You can also get food delivered by 3rd party food delivery services. If a restaurant offers it’s own delivery service OR if you are able to do curbside pickup instead, please order through the restaurant directly. Restaurants have to a hefty portion of each order to these 3rd party services.

Buy Gift Cards
As mentioned above, buy gift cards to use later! This will help ensure that temporarily closed restaurants can reopen, and that open restaurants can continue to cover expenses during this difficult time. You can usually buy gift cards online directly from the establishment, or check out the resources above for links to buy gift cards.
The Ohio Restaurant Employee Relief Fund
The Ohio Restaurant Employee Relief Fund was established as the restaurant industry has been devastated by COVID-19 as thousands of employees have been laid off in Ohio. We all have a favorite location to celebrate a birthday, anniversary to other life celebration. In times of crisis, restaurants and their employees are often the first to provide food and comfort. Now is our time to support them. To apply for support or donate, please visit OhioRestaurantsRelief.org. Even with the industry re-opening approaching soon, the need for life’s necessities is still great for these employees. One hundred percent of donations go towards Relief grants for these employees.
Help Feed Unemployed Industry Workers
Support the new nonprofit venture called Service! Relief for Hospitality Workers, which seeks to feed unemployed workers in the industry and families in Franklin County. The goal is to provide 2,000 meals a week for displaced workers. Visit servicerelief.org for more information and to donate.
Tip a Server
Support Columbus Eats has a Tip-a-Server page where unemployed industry workers can add their information to receive tips to help get them through this tough time. When you click on the page, you will be randomly matched with a server who would benefit from a tip – however big or small you can afford.
Pins Mechanical Co. and 16-Bit Bar + Arcade Merch & Gift Cards
Ever-popular Pins Mechanical Co. and 16-Bit Bar + Arcade have been closed since restrictions were put in place, and they are are going above and beyond to help their teammates in need with a relief program.
Merchandise is 40% off and 100% of all gift cards and merchandise sales goes directly to team members in need through the new Rise Relief Program. This will help those employees through the re-opening of Pins and 16-Bit when the world calms down a little bit. So far the company has been able to support more than 200 employees through this fund!
