Columbus Live Music Trail
Unlike traditional music trails that focus on historical significance or specific genres, the Columbus Live Music Trail celebrates the city’s diverse music scene.
Launched as one of the first of its kind, this trail showcases more than 40 venues that host live performances, including outdoor spaces, dive bars, sold-out arenas, and indie record stores.
It’s a journey through Columbus’ thriving music landscape, encompassing a wide range of genres, such as pop, punk, rock, rap, jazz, and bluegrass.

Featured stops along the Trail
The Columbus Live Music Trail boasts an impressive lineup of live music venues in Columbus, each contributing to the city’s vibrant musical landscape. Here are a few notable stops worth visiting:
1. Dick’s Den: A legendary jazz venue that has captured the hearts of music enthusiasts for years.
2. Newport Music Hall: The country’s longest continually running rock club, showcasing a wide range of rock and alternative acts.
3. Dirty Dungarees: A quirky combination of a laundromat and a bar, providing a laid-back atmosphere to enjoy live performances.

Make sure you hit all of the spots on the Music Trail by checking in at each venue on your mobile passport! It’s super simple to use.
- Sign up for your passport. You will receive a text and email with the passport that is ready to use immediately – no app to download
- Save your pass to your phone’s home screen for easy one-tap access. (Note: iPhone users will be automatically prompted. Android users will need to select “Install App” via the 3 dots.)
- Check-in. Open the passport on your home screen when you visit a venue and check-in via GPS
