Lights at Pastime Park and Christmas in Plain City

Head to Plain City for some old-time holiday spirit with Christmas Under the Clock and Route 42 Holiday Hop on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Lights at Pastime Park

Beginning November 18, 2024 – January 5, 2025

The free drive-through display features thousands of Christmas lights along with holiday characters. Tune to 89.5 FM radio to enjoy the synchronized sights and sounds.

Route 42 Holiday Hop

December 7 from 9 am – 12 pm. Visit various businesses in the village to participate in their Christmas themed activities! Santa is at Ace Hardware.

Christmas Under the Clock

Tree Lighting Ceremony and Santa Parade

December 7, 2024. The evening kicks off at 4 pm. You’ll enjoy live music and entertainment, carolers, business open houses, and craft and food vendors. There will be carriage rides to see the lights at Pastime park, and SANTA will be there for pictures!

Santa’s Parade is at 7:30 pm, following Christmas Under the Clock. Santa will ride throughout the village along the city streets past homes. A map of the parade route will be posted closer to the event. Santa will be tossing candy from the wagon. 

Santa’s Mailbox

Santa’s Mailbox Uptown at Bicentennial Park is available starting November 25, 2024. Every child who drops off a letter will receive a magical response directly from the North Pole! No postage is required. Letters due December 15, 2024 at 4:00 PM in order to receive a response. 

Holiday Lights Recycling Program

November 29 – January 5, 2025

Drop off old or broken holiday lights at the Municipal Building, 800 Village Blvd., from November 29 through January 5, 2025 for FREE recycling! Look for the specially-marked recycling bins, available 24/7. Please do not place holiday lights in plastic bags, boxes, or other containers.
