Chadwick Arboretum is back with the Spring Plant Sale in 2024!
They will be selling over 10,000 plants during the annual Spring Plant Sale fundraiser from Thursday, May 9 – Saturday May 11, 2024.
Chadwick Arboretum Spring Plant Sale
Choose from over 650 varieties of uncommon plants proven to grow well in Ohio climate and soil, which means your garden will look better than ever.
The plant list should be posted before the event. Credit Cards Only
Alongside a wide variety of perennials and annuals, vegetables and herbs, visitors will find colorful hanging baskets, hypertufa planters, planted and unplanted, and rain garden plants.
Ohio State University student horticulturist organizations will sell vegetables and the Plant Pathology Graduate Students Association will offer native plants for sale.
There will be food and drink for purchase, tool sharpening, local nurseries and businesses, and Ask a Master Gardener Booth.
This is the perfect place to shop for Mother’s Day – considering a membership for a Mother’s Day gift!
Spring Plant Sale Hours
Members Only: Thursday, 5/9/24: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Open to public:
Friday, 5/10/24: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 5/11/24: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Food and Drinks: Barbeque Texas (Friday), J-Pops (Friday), McGinnis Grill (Saturday, including breakfast and coffee)
Consider bringing a wagon to help carry your plants. Proceeds from this event benefit the OSU Chadwick Arboretum and OSU student organizations.
Location: Northwest corner of Lane Avenue and Fred Taylor Drive, adjacent to the Nationwide Ohio 4H Center at 2201 Fred Taylor Dr.
Park across the street in the Bill Davis Stadium Parking lot and use the crosswalks when walking to the plant sale site.
