This fall, the Bob Evans Farm Festival returns for its 53rd year, running from October 11-13, 2024 at the original Bob Evans Farm in Rio Grande, Ohio (about an hour and a half from Columbus).
The annual celebration honors the farming community during the harvest season. Guests will enjoy a weekend full of family fun, farm-fresh food, live entertainment, and more.
Bob Evans Farm Festival Highlights
One of the highlights of the festival is a lineup of country music performances, featuring rising star Kelsey Hart, Tyler Reese Tritt (daughter of country legend Travis Tritt), and Jimmy Fortune, formerly of The Statler Brothers. These headliners will perform each afternoon at 3:30 p.m., with other bluegrass, country, and gospel acts filling the day with music.
Visitors can enjoy a wide array of seasonal foods, including the famous Bob Evans sausage, bean soup, caramel apples, and more. The Farm Festival will also feature local artisans, chain saw carving demonstrations, lumberjack challenges, and a fireworks show on Saturday night.
For the little ones, there’s a Kids’ Farmyard Fun area with face painting, a hay bale maze, kiddie train rides, and more. Amusement rides will be available for all ages, with wristbands and tickets available for purchase.
The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with tickets available at the gate for $5 (children 5 and under are free). Free camping on the farm is available from October 8-13, on a first-come, first-served basis.
