Annual Oscars Nominations Breakfast at Gateway Film Center

Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 7:30 am. 
Go into work or school a little late for this annual nomination party. Meet in the Torpedo Room for the Oscars Nominations Breakfast.

Enjoy a light breakfast and chat with local film critics, GFC members and movie lovers about their picks for this year’s Academy Awards. Breakfast starts at 7:30 am, nominations are announced around 8 am. The event is free; rsvp requested.

AMC Best Picture Showcase

January 26-March 10, 2024

Catch the 2024 Academy Award® nominees at the AMC® Best Picture Showcase. Revisit your favorites or catch contenders you may have missed.

Some of the Oscar-nominated films for as low as $5 per ticket. Select films are part of AMC’s $5 Fan Faves special. Frugal film fans can also take advantage of AMC Theatres’ Discount Tuesdays special to see the films at a bargain price. More details here. 

Oscar Nominated Shorts at Gateway Film Center

Starting February 16, 2024

See the Oscar Nominated Shorts at GFC. ShortsTV and Magnolia Pictures present the Oscar-Nominated Short Films in all three categories – Animated, Live Action and Documentary.

The nominees are determined by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences from hundreds of qualifying films crafted by phenomenal artists across the globe.

February 23 through March 10, 2024. Marcus Theatres and Movie Tavern showcase this year’s Best Picture and Short Film nominees! 

With the Best Picture passport, watch every film in the showcase for $70 or a Pick 4 Passport for $28. Magical Movie Rewards Members receive 20% off concessions during these showings.
