The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is one of the treasures of Central Ohio, but tickets can be expensive. The Zoo wants to be accessible to all, and offers lots of discounts and free admission days throughout the year. Season passes are a great way to save money if you plan to go several times through the year, as you’ll get free parking and special members-only promotions and days.
The best way to find out about discounts to Columbus Zoo is to sign up for email updates from Columbus on the Cheap, and like our Facebook page. When we find new deals, we make sure our readers know about them.

You’ll need to check to see whether your Zoo membership offers a discount to the Columbus Zoo. The owned membership would determine the cost/discount to any other Zoo.

If I have a family zoo membership can I get into Zoombezi Bay for a discount?
George F Moore says
Franklin County home owners should of not have let that pass on the ballet!!
admin says
While I can’t answer all of your questions, because I’m not affiliated with the Columbus Zoo, I can explain the county discount. While the Zoo is actually located in Delaware County, it’s incorporated in Franklin County, thus Franklin County taxes support the Columbus Zoo. Because levys to support the Zoo only cost Franklin County homeowners increased property tax, they have offered those residents a discount as a thank you for the support.

WHY THE DIFFERENCE IN ADMISSION PRICE FOR SOMEONE WHO LIVES INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF FRANKLIN COUNTY? I FEEL YOUR BEING PREJUDICE !!!!
ALSO WHY $10.00 TO PARK YOUR CAR? $5.00 SHOULD BE THE MAX !!! ALOT OF PEOPLE CAN NOT AFFORD TO DO THINGS WITH THEIR FAMILIES BECAUSE OF THE INSANE HIGH PRICES THE ZOO CHARGES. I THINK THAT $10 TO PARK SHOULD BE VALET PARKING ALSO THE RIDES IN THE ZOO SHOULD BE PART OF THE ADMISSION . I
