But you still have a chance to catch “Hamilton” in Cincinnati – on the cheap! The ever popular musical “Hamilton” is peforming in Cincinnati at the Aronoff Center from February 19 – March 20, 2019.

“Hamilton” is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War, and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. Released in 2015, “Hamilton” quickly became one of the most coveted Broadway performances across the U.S., and has earned 11 Tony awards. The musical blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway, with the Original Broadway Cast Recording developing a huge following of all ages, earning a Grammy in 2016.
With that demand, ticket prices are expensive, but the Ham4Ham lottery system makes it incredibly affordable to the lucky ones who enter and win.
Cheap Hamilton Tickets in Cincinnati
The musical stipulates that in every city a certain number of low-priced tickets are available through this digital lottery for each show. The digital lottery will open at 11:00 am two days prior to each performance (February 17, for Cincinnati). You have the chance to win tickets for each show (all 24 performances!), but you must enter each lottery separately (and only once per performance – seriously, don’t try to cheat this). A tbd quantity of orchestra tickets will be sold for every performance for $10 each with the lottery (most cities have had 35-40 tickets for each show).
Willing to take a road trip? Hamilton will be in several cities withing driving distance of Columbus, including Chicago (long-term) Columbus, and Pittsburgh. If you don’t win for Cincinnati, there will also be shows in Detroit, Rochester, East Lansing, Louisville, and more through the 2019/2020 seasons.
Here’s how to enter the lottery for cheap Hamilton tickets in Cincinnati
-Use the official app for HAMILTON, now available for all iOS and Android devices in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, OR visit http://hamiltonmusical.com/lottery to register (don’t do both!).
-The lottery opens at 11:00 a.m. two days prior to the performance date, and will close for entry at 9:00 a.m. the day prior to the performance. The first Cincinnati performance is February 19!
-Winner and non-winner notifications will be sent at approximately 11:00 a.m. via email and text, the day prior to the performance. You’ll have just enough time to adjust your schedule (or plan for your road trip if you enter for a performance out of town).
-There is a limit of one entry per person for each lottery — each winner can purchase two tickets. You decide on one or two tickets, when you enter. You do not provide a credit card number unless you are a winner and choose to purchase tickets.
-If you’re a winner (congrats!), tickets must be purchased online with a credit card by 4 p.m. the day prior to the performance using the purchase link and code in the customized notification email. Tickets not claimed by 4 p.m. are forfeited. Lottery tickets may be picked up at will call beginning two hours prior to the performance with a valid photo ID. Lottery tickets are void if resold.
–Limit one entry per person, per performance. Repeat entries and disposable email addresses will be discarded. To enter, you must be 18 years or older and have a valid, non-expired photo ID that matches the name used to enter. Tickets are non-transferable. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve the chances of winning.

Hamilton is appropriate for ages 10 and older, due to some strong language. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted in the theater. All children must be seated with an adult.
